I wonder from time to time whether maybe it would be a better thing for all concerned for some of the smaller vendors of plugins to make arrangements with the "biggies" - MBS or Einhugur - to sell their plugins through them rather than going it alone. Then MBS or Einhugur could have an arrangement to hold the source code for these smaller vendors as an "insurance" and act as a "Publisher". This could also save valuable time and resource for the "littler guys" to work more on the code, while utilising the existing sales, marketing and "web shop" facilities of the larger guys.
