Hello Tim Thanks for your note.

The current Editfield is not prone to leaking > memory. I agree with your POV regarding the Quesa stuff. I don't use any of it. I feel RB's grown to quite a bloated application compared to version 3.0 when I began my work with this product. Largely due to the software essentially being a complete demo for 30 days. That's a lot of baggage to carry around. Not just the Pro stuff while running only at Standard, but the huge frameworks for the platforms. I believe a more modular RB could do a lot to reduce the footprint. It's already suggested by RS to buy a Windows version and run it on a Windows OS if you want cross platform and don't need to go Pro. It saves a couple of hundred. Having RB carry around all the platforms' frameworks to show that cross-platform builds are achievable has been a major selling point, so a modular RB may never happen. On the other hand, when it costs less to buy a separate Windows license just to have Standard level cross-platform capability then to pay the Pro price, perhaps RS should take a second look at selling RB "by the framework", where hey plugin or install into a Standard or Pro IDE.
