Not to be argumentative.... :)

Not necessarily. Leaving the NUG doesn't mean someone automatically  
goes to the forum. And even if they go and register, it doesn't mean  
they'll participate. I'm guessing a lot of people signed off from the  
NUG with no intention at all of going to the forum. Just my guess,  
and I could be wrong, but I don't think ever of us could be proven  
right or wrong conclusively.
