Yes - this undocumented "gem" is much much faster than using memoryblock methods. They are very "close to the metal" hence no bounds checks etc.
Personally I wish we were able to use the same syntax directly on memoryblock variables without having to keep assigning such memoryblock variables to separate Ptr variables all the time.
