I'm sorry -- that is old info, thanks for pointing out so we'll know to update. You don't need to register to anything to use realXtend -- no more than you need to register to the Firefox browser if you wan't to use that. It just just software, not a service. To test it, easiest now is to install the latest Tundra release and run the demos.
