What, the parliament account for for something, you jest! And many are
in
the "dark" (what a sick pun) over Canberra funding.
The NT is getting funds for Aboriginal interpreters as part of the
Little
Johnny wimp out over mandatory sentencing.
This money has already been provided to them from the Royal Commission
into
Aboriginal Deaths In Custody (RCIADIC) funding to mitgate against
further
deaths in custody, as it has to all States and Territories, and no one
has
audited that. Have a look at recommendation 100, then consider the 339
recommedations and $500 million allocated to remediation. So why audit
this mere sixty odd million?
Many want to over audit ATSIC, yet few wish to audit the parliament and
its
members, its the 21st century's equivilant of the Knights Templar, when
push comes to shove, they all wear the same cloak and ride the same
horse.
