If I'm not mistaken the vehicles used were Oskosh airfield crash tenders
owned by the RAAF.
If this was/is so, were they crewed by defence personnel?
Oh, yes, I was just wondering too if the GG approved the appropriate orders
for the crews and equipment to be used in aid of the civil authority?
