Oh dear. Historical point one:
REC-OGNITION
OZ-IN AUSTRALIA
NET-NETWORK
As the RECONCILIATION GAME was identified by the kernal of RecOzNet at its
inception some years ago as bullshit. For example, in WA Indigenous
Australians are incarcerated at a rate of 5,600 per 100,000 when the
average Victorian is imprisoned at a rate of 80 per 100,000. Like I said
Reconcilliation, nice idea but bullshit until realities such as this are
remedied by govenment(s).
This "Boat people" thing serves well to illustrate the racist nature and
intent of the suits in Canberra. The white Australia policy is alive and
well. Another example, perhaps 2000 boat people a year into Oz, yet 60,000
visa jumpers - but they tend to be wealthy or white, not poor or Arab.
Pity, but it has to be true, given their record of this govenment as they
are past masters (and mistresses) of divisive politics.
