Exactly which civil liberty are you talking about here? You don't say.
Wouldn't you rather see them (kids) in a rehab situation than in jail? But I
think we must found out what they mean by 'rehab' first. I think you'll find
they do not just pick the kid up and throw them straight into a program.
They would most likely do a bit of digging first to find out some details
about the youoth and whet their history and background is. If they are a
regular offender the cops probably already know them well. How else do you
suggest they be 'straightened out' if they do something wrong?
I am so intrigued by some of the e-mails on this list. I've never come acros
such 'different' sorts of opinions or ways of thinking. Some are certainly
interesting to say the least.
