We could have overspent on Ronaldinho as well but eventually capped it when it became an auction. How long will it be before Barca are selling him to raise funds to pay off debts if they don't qualify for the Champions League again? I don't really think there is anyone that can make us better in January, there never has been - most quality players cannot play in Europe as they are cup-tied and domestically we are more than good enough as we have proved before. All I think he is saying is that we don't buy in January, we buy in the summer when players don't have restrictions on them and that has always been the case even before the transfer window. Give the guy a chance.
