They are not required by glibc-devel-2.1.92-5:

rpmlib(CompressedFileNames) <= 3.0.4-1

When building glibc I had header files from kernel-2.2.14-100 installed.

Do you recommend a rebuild of glibc with the header files form kernel-2.2.4?
