Hi all,
We offer a Samba service via a RH 5.0 Linux system with the
following hardware, and software:
    Pentium II 233Mhz
320Mb Ram + 720Mb swap space (over 6 swap partitions)
EIDE Hard disk + EIDE CDRom
    2 x 3Com 3c905 Ethernet Card
    RH 5.0 Linux 2.0.33
    Samba 1.9.18p3
    also running YP.

The users filestore in NFS mounted over from an Alpha running Digital
Unix, via one of the 3c905's
Every now and again, usually about once a day, the kernel panics and
hangs the system. It produces the following message on screen.

Kernel panic: skput:over:0018c118:234
In Swapper task - not syncing

Cheers,
    Hefin.
