Ahh! The dreaded non-ide CDROM curse. I know it well! I hate it more!!

The only thing I can think of, and this is a shot in the dark, is that since
you are mounting the drive with DOS to load the drivers Disk Druid can not
access hda. To sent the partitions (and make the file system) the drive must
be unmounted. If I am wrong someone will correct me but I think this is your
problem.

The only solution is to find a cheap ide cdrom and install it. Then install
RedHat. However someone may have a linux driver that will work durring
install, without dos. I have never gotten the one's given on the included
boot floppy to work.
