We have several clients who seem to be experiencing similar problems to this.
After some period of time, their permanent PPP connection stalls to our
routers.
They are all running Intel platforms with Redhat 5.0 and stock standard ppp out
of the box.
It seems the problems are experienced a lot with uploads, so, downloads (www
browing and so on) work fine.
For example, if I log into one of these boxes, i can move around a bit in the
shell until i do something like a ps -aux.
The screen locks/telnet session jamms and then i need to do a control ] to drop
out and then login again.
I thought it was bad UARTS but its about 8 or 9 clients with the same software
setup, and different levels of hardware.
Is there any known bugs ? Ive checked the errata and there is nothing
mentioned.
Anyone else noticed something like this ?
