Hi Michael, I haven't been following this from the start, sorry if I'm missing something. I just tested this on an 8.0 system with kernel-source packages: kernel-source-2.4.18-18.8.0 kernel-source-2.4.18-19.8.0 Steps used: rpm -Fvh kernel-source${version}, cd /usr/src/linux-2.4/ # make mrproper # cp configs/kernel-2.4.18-athlon.config .config # make oldconfig # make dep # make bzImage # make modules Both versions completed without difficulty. - -- - -Michael pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/gpgkey.txt Red Hat Linux 7.{2,3}|8.0 in 8M of RAM: http://www.rule-project.org/ - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+Cncgn/07WoAb/SsRAsDhAKCYBIqi5loaikQ5Z5NDOD8/MSjHeQCcD1JM UuZiwflDuu/D8DlTimskIpQ= =31aO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
