RH8.0 - Altering Security Level

What files do I have to edit to change the security settings on my Redhat 8.0 box?  I’m trying to set up samba, but as it is, I can’t even get localhost to accept my connection.  The firewall/security setting is stuck at ‘high’ and when I attempt to change it via the gnome Security Level Configuration interface the changes don’t take (I am logged in as root).  Anyone else run into this problem?    Ricky Deitemeyer Mediabase 15260 Ventura Blvd., Ste. 1500 Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 (818)461-8096 ricky@mediabase.com
