Try that first. I had to switch to a Standard Windows Driver for my Epson
Stylus Color 880, because the Epson Driver wanted to do the monitoring (I
couldn't switch it off - I don't know about HP drivers - you may be able
to). Monitoring through Samba doesn't work AFAIK.
