Am I correct in believing that these are encrypted (as opposed to merely encoded) methods of authentication? Are they one-way, such that my password cannot be backed out? If so, is there a decent tutorial on their use somewhere? I've so far failed to understand them, much less activate them. Made do with LOGIN and PLAIN so far. -- Rodolfo J.
