Subject: RPM upgrade segmentation fault

Hi all,

I want to upgrade openoffice.org from my current openoffice-1.0.1-8 to
openoffice_1.0.2-2.

Whether I use apt-get for RH8.0 or rpm -Uvh to upgrade the three
openoffice rpm's I get a seg fault:

3 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 1225 not upgraded.

Executing RPM (-Uvh)...

or

[EMAIL PROTECTED] archives]# rpm -Uvh --nodeps
openoffice-i18n_1.0.2-2_i386.rpm

I do --nodeps because when I manually have to install the rpm's the i18n
and libs package provides the openoffice main package (as detailed in
the apt-get output) therefore they prevent the install. As well
openoffice depends on the other two and when I try to install normally
it also has deps for the other two packages.

I've tried rebuilding the db after deleteing the __db files.

What else can I try?

Happens on my RH8.0, kernel-2.4.18-24.8.0 rpm version rpm-4.1-1.06.

Thanks for your help,
