And I suppose the whole world is confused by Microsoft's integer numbering too? How about your model 2003 car? What year was it built and what year was it sold? What ECOs have been applied? You don't buy a 2003.1 Ford Mustang that already has the fixes in it for the steering wheel coming loose do you? [I'm not Ford-bashing - I just made this up!] The US consumer market currently understands integer numbering.
