what harm it could do, that another module is installed by default...
Once my friend came over to copy some data from his winchester and he had an NTFS file system, and I couldn't read it. Then I thought it's not available from redhat in any way.
Have you looked at the 7.2 RPM tree? It's either installed by default in Redhat 7.2 (what I use) or available as a seperate module.
I wonder why RedHat removed NTFS support, especially considering XP's default format is NTFS and not FAT32
