You can use LILO to do that as well....I have GRUB doing this as well if
I am remembering correctly.  I had SuSE8.1 installed before changing to
RH9.  I am tri booting Windows XP, RH9, and BEOS5  I have two disks.
Linux is on a drive by itself.
