Earlier this month, I copied a RH72/lilo disk using ghost - no problem, except you must use fdisk to manually create the partitions on new disk before using Ghost 2003. After you copy disk with ghost, boot from CDROM, run "linux rescue", mount your new file system. If /etc/fstab uses labels, then reinit those using "e2label"; otherwise check/change the disk names (they might have changed). Then update/run lilo, initialize swap partition, and reboot to your new disk.
