When using static IP's from say a notebook or whatever you can implement a
system to make them check there mail (either POP or IMAP) first and then
capture there IP address from the LOG and then allow relaying to this
address. Several scripts and such out there, dont have a link handy, sorry.

-OR-

You can cheat and just put this line 'FEATURE(relay_local_from)' in your
sendmail.mc file (then rebuild the sendmail.cf with m4) and that will tell
sendmail to relay mail that is within its given domain. In other words it
will relay for anyone with the @your_domain.com
