Right. look. You spewed falsehoods about GNOME, Enlightenment, RHAT and
GdkPixbuf. I calmly, and in a friendly manner, explained to you what the
*actual* situation was, in great detail.
You respond with name calling. Thanks for that, it was very constructive.

It's a common mistake, and it was the only way I could put any relavence
to why you brought it up :) It had none otherwise :)

We all have to start somewhere, no?

I'm not vocally unhappy with redhat. Read my first post. I was asking
for a response from a Redhat employee to explain the decision to one of
the developers. You (not a redhat employee) decided to respond in a rude
an non-constructive manner, spewing falsehoods left, right and center.
What starting another distro would solve is beyond me :)
I have indeed taken matters into my own hands in fact, and have written
modifications to the E cvs tree and an rpm .spec file and configuration
set specifically designed for use with RHAT and GNOME. When we release
DR0.16.4 at the end of the week, I will bundle up a E_GNOME.rpm and make
it available on the ftp site (ftp.enlightenment.org) for anyone wishing
to upgrade from the ancient version in RH6.2.

Erm. Re-read the thread. Examine the maturity of your statements.

But that's what you are doing. I was explaining something to you in a
friendly manner, something you obviously didn't know. You in fact
*asked* me to explain why GNOME was "dumping imlib", so I did. You then
complain that I answered? How strange.
Please don't post to threads when you have nothing positive to
contribute.
Tom.
