hi,

 sorry if i didn't mention the fact that

 i actually added two images.......
 
 
    image=vmlinuz-2.2.13  ------> initially exusting image
          .......

    image=vmlinuz-2.2.22  ------> the image that i compiled and added.
          .......

    image=vmlinux-2.2.15  ------> another new image i added(but was
                                  precompiled).

  here, 2.2.15 was already available(precompiled), and got added,

  which i noticed at reboot time.

  and just 2.2.22 was missing.

  i think i made it fully clear this time.
