Hi.
I have a similar problem and I'm running a celeron/600Mhz. With 256 megs of
RAM. Although the machine was running fine with the factory-installed
redHat 6.2. Then my ftp service went down, and I had to reboot the machine.
Now it cannot see the net with a "connect: Network is unreachable". I
re-installed the whole thing again from scratch, but that didn't take me
anywhere. I still get the same error when I ping a well-known address.
Thanks
Alfredo

What box are running this on and are you running DNS or DNS caching? I had
a similar problem with an old (p100) box with 64mg Ram. Upgrading to more
memory/faster processor cleared it.

Might have something to do with memory/swap filling up.

Kevin
