I upgrade to the latest rpm 4.0.2 and I notice that the file /etc/rpm/macros.db1 no longer exists. It is replaced with a file called /etc/rpm/macros.specspo However, an rpm -qlp on the new rpm file show that /etc/rpm/macros.db1 resides in the new rpm-4.0.2 archive but when upgraded does not exist. Moreover, when I run rpm -vv -V rpm i get the following error: missing /etc/rpm/macros.db1 Thank you.
