Yes, it's all sorted now. I just didn't realize that installing the
errata (by redhat network) would upgrade the kernel also. So on that
note, to the people who insist on stating the painfully obvious I say
once *again* I HAVE READ THE DOCS. If you bother to read the thread you
will see that.
