Everything looks fine, and the only server I can get to right now has PAM, so you should be OK there. The "ehlo" command returns the LOGIN and PLAIN mechanisms too? What doesn't work? What errors are in /var/log/maillog or /var/log/messages when sending mail fails? Have you turned *off* encryption (STARTTLS)? -- Rodolfo J.
