You didn't say if you've already installed your system or not. 
If you have, you might have a look at 'man mouseconfig' The man page is 
also available online here:
http://nodevice.com/sections/ManIndex/man0879.html

If you haven't installed yet, it's possible that the installer will find 
the mouse, and just "Do the Right Thing".
