Yes, it is easily done.
Create the folders you want to use, then:
At the top of the KMail window, click settings -> configure filters.
Click new (lower left of window, above help button)
Set up the filter. For Red Hat lists, you can filter on the list-id 
header. (For this list, the list_id looks like:
List-Id: General Red Hat Linux discussion list <redhat-list.redhat.com>)
In the filter actions section, select 'move to folder' and choose the 
folder from the drop down list.
