RH72 w/ Ximian GNOME. Dual boot with WinSucks ME (kids use it not me...). Booting selection handled by Grub.
Went to do an upgrade to RH73 and get to the screen in anaconda that you select the type of install. Select Upgrade existing system. Window pops up saying something like Looking for Linux Partitions, then it disappears. Then it goes to the next anaconda screen that says No Linux Partitions Found and the next button is grayed out. In the past, have always done full system installation rather then upgrade, but then I usually only upgraded when the major version changed. I decided to start purchasing each release and doing the upgrade. Was very surprised that the upgrade process didn't work. fdisk -l /dev/hda shows: Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System --------- ---- ----- ---- -------- -- ---------------- /dev/hda1 * 1 916 6924928+ c Win95 FAT32 (LBA) /dev/hda2 917 920 30240 83 Linux /dev/hda3 921 1305 2910600 83 Linux /dev/hda4 1306 1323 136080 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA) /dev/hda5 1306 1323 136048+ 82 Linux swap df -h shows: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on ---------- ---- ---- ----- ---- ---------- /dev/hda3 2.7G 1.7G 945M 65% / /dev/hda2 29M 3.7M 23M 14% /boot none 30M 0 29M 0% /dev/shm Anyone see what could be wrong? _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
