If you use the same version number, yes (as /lib/modules/<version> will not have changed). If you use a different version (i.e. 2.4.18-18.8.0custom per recommendation of the Red Hat kernel guides), you'll need to rebuild the nvidia driver. Not a difficult or time consuming task if you have the tar.gz source.
