Hi there! I am trying to set up a ppp connection to a nt server , i have now an old version of ppp (2.2.0) compiled as a module in the kernel, to set up the connection i need ppp 2.3 (for mschap authentication) My question to all of you is : do i have to compile the whole kernel , or is there a possibility to compile only the ppp module , and how does it work?
