The quick and dirty way is to use netcfg in the control panel under X.
It's a very easy way to set up all of the config files necessary under 5.0,
you must be logged in as root to use this.  It is a good idea to read the
PPP Howto, there is also a ISP mini-Howto, and an older but good doc on
RedHat's site under their Tips section ( PPP Setup Tips by Robert Hart -
specific to the RedHat distro ).
