No one person is the reason. But the manager needs to fix all the little reasons. Statistical evidence or not, if Beckett feels he pitches better when Varitek catches the Beckett pitches better when Varitek pitches.
Ultimately, Salty will be the primary catcher. I hope your projections are right.
