| Thanks again for all the input! If I pull the rock out and put it in containers of some sort with powerheads circulating how long will it be OK sitting in there without any light. I guess the bacteria will still live without the light and as some of you suggested that is the most important thing for now. Plumbing this thing I have determined is going to be quite a challenge! The magnum 350 canisters that Ron is talking about are simply for circulation from the sump to the skimmer, right? So the oceanviews could be used for this instead of having to buy the magnum 350's. Not sure what the pumps are on the oceanviews but just looking at them they looked pretty big. About like a mag 3 or something. Thanks again for the input and I'm sure I will have some more questions soon. Glen |
