OK, it took me a while to figure it out, but the are probably Ocean Clear,
not Oceanview. Take a look at:

It looks like the pumps are bought separately, so you will have to see
exactly what the pumps are, but you can probably use them instead of the
magnums, basically yes, they are to get the water to the skimmers, you can
use any pump (sized right, or a ball valve to slow the flow), Ron, just
recommends the magnums for his skimmers.
As for the rocks curing, I like to do it with light, just sit some normal Fl
bulbs on top of the containers for now.
