I did not realize that the repeater sat for 4 years without crystals. My
point was to be sure that it was working properly before you started
retuning so you could determine whether to look for an exiting component
failure, or if there was a self induced problem.
At my shop I would have launched dbase and checked the inventory on my 2500
some odd crystals and see if there was a fundamental somewhere close to the
desired frequency. Seems like f/36 for a UHF pro, but memory might be
failing me.
