<---Wow, an oldie but a goodie! The U901 was one of the "early" "microwave" bipolar transistors (they were black bodied and used axial leads - 4 of 'em). I don't even know if they're available anymore but I did do a quick google search and didn't come up with anything. You might give RF Parts a call. They may be of some help.
