Do any of you have the schematic circuit
for this option? It is not shown in the LB130867D power supply manual that I
have, it must be another supplement.
The charger winding is in the
transformer; I can rig up the diode bridge and a transfer relay without much
trouble but I just want to see how GE did it. My main interest is does the
official design reduce any battery load when RX is squelched - such as turning
off the final PA load.
This project is now only in
the thought process. I haven't even gotten far enough to measure the
PA load in standby. The thing is a repeater so I have to leave the
Rx working when on battery.
