If you were going to buy a new repeater/base... you might just want to jump up to the available tkr-751. We Kenwood Dealers normally have sales and service areas in and around our physical location.
A new tkr-751 repeater is real "sweet!" So the proper way to start out would be to ask your local Kenwood Dealer for help and information. If they don't promptly provide the info and prices you can easily find other dealers by phone and email who will gladly help you.
