Thanks for the help. Need a little more clarification. I have never used one of these before, so I don't want to blow it up. I have a chip that is stacked....I suppose this is the one. I took it apart and wouldn't you know it, I managed to turn the chip socket with the smaller chip inside around, so I am not sure of its orientation. It has a cut out on the small chip inside the socket. I suppose this marks pin one.... and I would place the large chip with its dot in the same direction. Now, I have an empty chip space. What socket does it go into... U15 or U16....should have marked it....dumb. Sorry for the bother, but a little bit of orientation will keep me from blowing it up...
