Huh? Since when is a GP300 not type accepted for GMRS? News to me, but I have been wrong before. (once!)

I doubt that it would be type accepted for GMRS as it was based on one or more series of portables (HT-90 and/or GP300). Of course the phone patch would not be usable on GMRS either.
