Use a solar panel to keep a charge on the battery. if the repeater is only 5 watts then a small solar panel will do the trick easily.
you can get a 120 watt panel or an array of smaller panels for portability which will charge the battery plus run the repeater all day and allow the system to operate through the night on battery power.
