It would be ANDed with the COS, so that anyone too "soft-spoken" would drop out of the repeater. We had one repeater around here with that feature. AFAIK it worked quite well. It was removed when the entire repeater was replaced; I suspect the trustee didn't want to bother grafting the old circuit into the new repeater. Besides, by then the user base was likely "well trained". Bob NO6B
