OK, you'll have to explain how a different tone on the TX changed the mixing products of the RF frequencies.
I bet it's more of a case where the problem was still there, just hidden. At least if the problem is seen/heard, you can fix it. If you don't know it's there, then you have minimal chance of fixing it (truly fixing the problem, not just fixing the symptom). Joe M.
