I have been looking at the HP8924C service monitors that are showing up
surplus from the cellular carriers these days.
I have not used this particular model so I have a question.
Most state that it will do CDMA testing.
Will this unit work in a "standalone" or "manual" mode as "normal"
communication service monitors do ?
The ones I have seen have a box on the screen for the cellular channel
number, do you have to set it up by scrolling in the cell channel numbers or
can you enter your own frequency on the keypad as you would on a "normal"
service monitor.
Will it do non cell freqs as for ham testing.
