Greg's response was highly helpful, as were other suggestions I've seen on drilling down on my yum problem. Your instructions for me to post a bug report against yum, attempting to smear me for not researching my problem (of which you admit you know little), and nit picking on a common misuse of a term in release notes does nothing for getting any of us through to the end of the day with our Redhat systems. Helping each other getting our day's work done with Redhat, is the purpose of this list.
